Nobody Is Permitted To Sit On Cat’s New Favorite Chair
Meet Yoshitsune, a five-year-old cat that doesn’t hesitate to assert her authority.
Yoshitsune naturally thinks her parents are bringing her gifts since she adores everything new they bring home. Yoshi’s mother Reina, who requested that her last name be deleted, told The Dodo that her daughter “likes new things, and she’s frightened and eager.” She does, however, comprehend spoken language.

Yoshitsune’s latest crush is on a gray and white desk chair her mom recently bought for the apartment. The playful cat especially likes sticking her arm through the narrow space between the seat and the back and leaning against the cushion.
Unfortunately for Yoshitsune, she has to share the chair with her dad — and she’s not happy about it.
Yoshitsune has been monopolizing the chair since its arrival, and whenever her dad tries to sit down, she makes her displeasure known.
The small cat does everything she can to prevent her father from occupying her favourite spot.
She has tried to shove him with her p
… and wedging her body between his back and the chair to make sitting as uncomfortable as possible.
If all else fails, she may be rather theatrical and put on her most distressed face in an effort to win her mother over.
Earlier this month, Reina snapped a few photos of Yoshi defending her territory, and posted them to Twitter with the caption: “The new piece is my place. Somehow my dad is always sitting in the way.”
Yoshitsune’s objections are always successful, and her father allows her to sit in the chair alone.
Her parents are aware that they will be able to use their “new” desk chair once more as soon as they purchase their next piece of furniture.
